Tree Cutlery Holder

December 7, 2024 By A Spoonful of Sugar - Leave a Comment

Add festive charm to your holiday table with our Tree Cutlery Holder, featuring a foundation paper pieced tree and satin piping. Perfect for organizing flatware for Christmas meals, this quick and easy project can be sewn from your fabric stash and includes two delightful tree styles.

The tree cutlery holder is ideal for organising your flatware/silverware/utensils for each guest. They can be used in both a casual setting such as BBQ or picnic; or in a more formal table setting. You can sew them with fabric colours to suit your Holiday decor. I’ve made these cutlery holders in a bright and modern style using red/pink; and green/teal. They would look great in other colours such as gold/silver; blue/silver; and traditional red/green.

The Tree Cutlery Holders feature a simple foundation paper pieced tree which is suited to beginner paper piecers. These holders are quick to create and can be made in around 90 minutes – 2 hours. There is room in each holder for a knife, fork and spoon. You can also fold a napkin and slip it in too. They help keep the flatware clean and organised for each guest.

Cutlery holders, also known as flatware or silverware pouches are growing in popularity. They are are fun and practical project to add colour to your festive table.

You can find the Tree Cutlery Holder pattern in our Pattern Store and Etsy Shop for immediate download. The 19 page ePattern, includes full sized templates to make two styles of tree. A colouring page is also included to help you plan out your colour scheme.
