Heartstrings is a foundation paper pieced quilt block in the shape of a heart. The heart is made up of three sections on each side. I have used three colours in coordinating colours in this set of four 3 inch hearts. The pattern includes a colouring sheet so you can experiment with your own colour scheme. You can make it is scrappy or just use one or two colours. The choice is yours.
In my Heartstrings samples, I have used green, pink and purple but you can use a Valentines inspired colour palette with traditional red and pink.
Like all of my foundation paper piecing quilt blocks, this one comes in 5 different sizes ranging from 2 inches to 6 inches. This makes the block versatile for a range of projects.
