It is no secret that I love to combine my favourite scraps to create one of a kind projects so no scrap goes unwasted. In my latest pattern, I have combined all my cheery sunny yellow fabric pieces into a handy rotary cutter sewing tool pouch. This pouch is sized to hold most rotary cutters but is also perfect for spectacles, scissors, and other assorted sewing tools.
Rotary Cutter Sewing Tool Pouch has a scrappy patchwork body, combined with natural linen flap and bias binding, and finished with a handy snap closure.
Using approximately 50 fabric scrap pieces, the pouch helps to make a dent in your scrap pile. I love to combine monochromatic scraps to celebrate a particular colour. However you can mix and match and combine colours to suit your individual style.
The Rotary Cutter Sewing Tool Pouch is beginner friendly and can be easily made in an afternoon. It is a fun project to master the art of bias binding. The pouch is useful for taking your sewing tools to classes or sewing retreats. It also makes it easy to locate your tools in your sewing room.
You can find the 13 page ePattern in our Etsy Store and Pattern Shop. It includes loads of helpful photographs and full sized templates.
