Nothing beats a quiet Sunday afternoon sewing …. it sets me up for the busy work week now I work full time. It is important to carve out some time for yourself to recharge and get creative.
When sewing time is in short supply, I love to make quick projects that can be easily made in an afternoon. Travel Sewing Kit is a fun project and makes the perfect gift for sewists, travellers, or friends. The triangle kit cleverly opens outs to reveal space for scissors, needles, thread, buttons etc.
These kits were made using the lovely Loyal Heights quilting fabric range by Jera Brandvig for Lecien Fabrics. I love the soft romantic tones, and the touches of gold.
