Liberty Pencil Case

May 25, 2016 By A Spoonful of Sugar - 2 Comments

Liberty Pencil Case made using a free tutorial from A Spoonful of Sugar

My patchwork pencil case tutorial is such a fun, quick project when you need a small pencil case in a hurry! In this Liberty pencil case, I have combined some new season Liberty prints with Essex linen. The colours in the Liberty fabric are so vibrant. This project came together in under an hour – perfect for when you need a one of a kind gift! I added some fun stationery supplies and a gift card.

I added a little suede tassel to the zipper for a finishing touch. You can find the Patchwork Pencil Case Tutorial here (it includes lots of step by step photos) and is a great beginner project. You can find some other pencil cases I have made using this easy pattern here and here.

The Liberty fabric came from this months Liberty Society bundle from Ava and Neve, which is a great way to build up your stash of Liberty fabrics. Check out some of our other Liberty projects here.
