{Review} Quilters Candy Box

May 24, 2016 By A Spoonful of Sugar - 5 Comments

Quilters Candy Box

I love finding out about new quilting and sewing notions and supplies. I don’t attend trade shows so love to discover new products that make sewing and quilting more enjoyable and fun. There is a new subscription service available, Quilters Candy Box, which brings you a monthly box filled with fabric, notions, and goodies. Each box contains 5-6 items, plus a delicious treat. The Quilters Candy Box is the brainchild of two friends, Tracy and Elizabeth, from Texas.  I received a Quilters Candy Box in the mail a couple of weeks ago. It arrived around the time of my birthday and was a lovely treat.

As I live in Australia, one of the things I look for when I buy items online is that they are well packaged, as they have a long way to travel! As you can see in the image below, the Quilters Candy Box was thoughtfully packaged with sweet touches. Who doesn’t enjoy receiving a lovely package tied with string?

Quilters Candy Box

The Quilters Candy Box contained a lovely range of goodies. My favourite item is the Quilting mug which I have been putting to good use in my sewing room. The box contained a fabric Charm pack; quilt pattern, mini embroidery hoop kit; and thread wax; plus a delicious lemon cookie. I have always wanted to try thread wax so that will be used on my next hand quilting project. The mini embroidery hoop will be used in a new stitching project. Fabric and patterns are always well received.

The Quilters Candy Box is a fun subscription style box to give yourself or a friend. It is always great to receive happy mail and to try new products. If you would like to know more about the Quilters Candy Box, head to their website for all the details and pricing information.

This looks great. I am impressed that the mug and cookie both arrived safely. I love the idea of these kits but find postage abroad is such a lot, and also I always get caught out on the customs charges from the U.S.A. too. x

Well, you have finally lost me as a reader – one advertisement after another. Another promotion. Another blog hop promoting yet something again. Post after post. A sad state of affairs.

Hi Linda – I am sorry to hear that. The past couple of months have been difficult for me as I have surgery/treatment for cancer. As a result I haven’t had much energy for sewing and for developing new blog content. Thank you for your feedback.
