Holiday Crafts 2014

September 26, 2014 By A Spoonful of Sugar - 17 Comments

Holiday Crafts 2014

We had a most exciting mail delivery today, with the arrival of our contributors copy of Better Homes and Gardens Holiday Crafts Magazine. We were asked back in January if we would like to contribute a few projects to the magazine and are delighted to see them now in print. Nine of our projects have been grouped together in Simple Sentiments section, which contains some quick and easy ideas to make gift cards and decorations using paper, fabric, felt, and ribbon.

We haven’t spotted the magazine anywhere locally in Australia but it is available for download from the Better Homes and Gardens website and it went on sale in the USA in August.

Christmas craft projects are our favourite things to make. We have a few ideas for this Christmas and are just waiting until Sarah has completed her Year 12 exams in November before getting started.

HSC year for you as well? I feel like the entire household is in total meltdown as we are on this horrific countdown. Wishing Sarah (and the rest of the family) all the very best for the upcoming exams. It is such a milestone, filled with all sorts of emotion.

Looks sooooooooo pretty! I love the red, white and aqua colourway – so much more light and airy than traditional red and green (though I do love that too).

Hey, well done! Everything looks great. It must be hard to think “seasonal” well when it’s not the season.
