Mother’s Day Gifts to Sew

April 20, 2014 By A Spoonful of Sugar - 4 Comments

Sew you Mother a gift for Mother's Day

Mother’s Day is not too far away so now is the time to start planning some gift projects for the Mothers, Grandmothers, or other special women in your life. Nothing means more to a mother than putting some effort into creating a one of a kind gift just for them. I loved the sweet gifts and cards that my children made for me when they were in primary school – I still have most of them as sweet reminders of their childhood. Many schools have Mother’s Day craft stalls and are always looking for items to sell. So if you need to make multiple items for a craft stall, check out these gifts to sew.

I hope you find some inspiration from these projects of easy gifts to sew- most are fairly quick to make and are suitable for beginner to intermediate sewers. Click on the link above each image to be taken to the our original tutorial which features all the project instructions and step by step photos.

1. Pot Holder

Mother’s who love to cook and bake, will appreciate a pretty little pot holder.
