Who says your laundry room can’t be pretty! In my latest pattern I have combined large scale romantic florals with a coordinating fabric band and crocheted lace, to create a pretty laundry bag. With a drawstring closure and lined in lovely toile fabric, sorting laundry has never been so fun! The classic laundry bag is perfectly sized to hold laundry or even to use as a quilt bag to keep your quilts clean when not in use.
This sweet laundry bag duo uses the new Tilda fabric range, Chic Escape. Thanks to Two Green Zebras for providing the advance fabric to make these items. The fabric range was released in early June 2022. It consists of large scale floral designs in beautiful rich colours. It was a change from my usual palette but worked so well for these laundry bags, don’t you think?
The laundry bags would be a perfect gift for someone going off to college to store their laundry in between trips to the laundromat. They would also work well when travelling to separate clean and dirty clothes in your suitcase. They would also be an ideal size to use as a Santa Sack. So many uses for the one pattern!
The Classic Laundry Bag is a beginner friendly pattern and can be easily made in an afternoon. Add some pretty lace or ricrac trim to the front of the bag.
