My latest pattern design is a sweet and whimsical Mushroom House Pouch which can be used to store small treasures, toys, sewing/craft supplies, or other small items. It can also be used as a gift bag – which is like giving two gifts in one! The Mushroom House pouch features cute pompom trim, polka dots, and raw edge appliques. There is plenty of opportunity to add your own details such as buttons and trims, to make a one-of-a-kind Mushroom House Pouch.
The pouch has fusible wadding to give it some structure so it will stand up independently. Small colourful beads have been added to the drawstring for added interest.
The Mushroom House Pouch can be easily made in an afternoon. Combine large scale polka dot fabric, with low volume fabric, and add some fussy cut appliques.
