I made a Handy Drawstring Bag featuring a different fabric on each of the four sides. Like all Tilda fabric ranges, it blends perfectly with the coordinating Tilda basics such as the Tilda Tea Towel shown here as the drawstring casing.
These little drawstring bags and perfectly sized to hold a collection of toys. I have made this one to store a collection of farm animals. I must confess I have kept a lot of my children’s toys. These sweet farm animals bring back lots of happy memories of my children and I playing farms. Hopefully another generation will get to enjoy them one day.
The Handy Drawstring Pouch is a beginner friendly sewing pattern. The template is shaped to give the pouch a square base without the need for boxed corners. It can be easily made in around an hour.
