Peanut Pillows are a fun gift idea – they are perfect for picnics, travel, for watching TV, and more! They are beneficial for anyone with a neck condition who needs a bit more support and are handy to have in the car for road trips.
With Father’s Day fast approaching (we celebrate in early September in Australia), I made up a batch in some darker colours.
If you are a fan of pre-cut fabric, you probably find you have some orphan squares lying around your sewing room. Peanut Pillows can be made from 4 layer cake squares of fabric (10 x 10 inches), plus an extra square for the handle. It is fun combining different prints in these pillows. You can see some other peanut pillows we made here.
The pdf pattern for the Peanut Pillow is available for immediate download from our Etsy and Pattern Shop.
These samples were made using L’s Modern Fabric by Lecien Fabrics which comes in a bright assortment of colours in cool and warm tones.

How do I fit the smaller bone template to the larger template to sew together?
A Spoonful of Sugar says
Hello Ila – all templates are the same size. Check the pattern – it includes templates for both A4 and Letter size. You should print the template that is compatible with your printer and use that to cut out the four panels.
