I love to inject handmade into the Holidays. For me, it is part of my preparation for Christmas to make decorations, bake, and create handmade gifts. It really helps me focus on the true meaning of the season and shows your family and friends that you care. Nothing beats creating one of kind decorating items. Here are my most popular projects to sew for the holidays (includes a mix of free tutorials and sewing patterns). Click on the photo to find out more details.

Jingle Bell Coasters add holiday cheer to your festive table. Perfect for your coffee mug or wine glass, these are quick to construct using seasonal fabrics. Pair them with a mug and hot chocolate sachet for a sweet gift.

Easy Hexagon Trivet and Coasters is a beginner friendly sewing pattern to create a hexagonal trivet and matching coasters. Make these from seasonal fabrics and they will protect your table. They are easily constructed in under an hour and make great gifts. Combine with home baked treats for a great Neighbour gift.

Merry and Bright Napkins add festive cheer to your holiday table using our free tutorial. Use store bought fabric napkins and add scrappy letters to suit each guest. This is a quick sew project.

Yuletide Cottages pattern includes a trio of appliqued cottages that you can add to a tea towel/dish towel, hoop art, stocking, item of clothing or more! This is a fun scrap buster project.

Scrappy Mini Stockings are fun to add to your holiday table place settings or to use to hold small little gifts. These can be made from your favourite scraps and look great in monochromatic tones, or else make them in one fabric for a faster finish.

Star Table Runner can be easily made in colours to suit your festive colour scheme. Featuring three large Ohio Star blocks, these are sized for you holiday table, coffee table, or console table.
