Pegboard Makeover

March 15, 2016 By A Spoonful of Sugar - 6 Comments

Sewing room pegboard / inspiration board

I love the pegboard/inspiration board in my sewing room. It sits on the wall behind my sewing machine and provides me with lots of inspiration while I sew. It is fun re-arranging it every few weeks.

This latest arrangement is inspired by pastels – with lots of pink, blue, and yellow accents.

My husband framed and painted a piece of pegboard that he purchased from Bunnings. My daughter works in a stationery store so I always have fun stationery and homewares to display on the board.

It is a fun way to display some of my vintage haberdashery, as well as a selection of craft supplies.

I added a felt ball garland in pretty shades of mint, pink, and white.

Hi Susan – I spotted the knitting needle idea over on Red Agape – she has a wonderful pegboard. It has been a fun addition to the sewing room – and it is so quick and easy to makeover.
