Table Runner

May 28, 2011 By Spoonful of Sugar - 38 Comments

On of my most favourite recent fabric purchases, was a 1/2yard of Echino Rondo in Turquoise. It is a light weight cotton/linen blend, is 62 ” wide,  and has a wonderful drape. The multi coloured print was perfect for a table runner to bring our meals area some colour during winter.

Sometimes simple is best.

This is simply stunning, as in, stunningly simple. I just finished some fun and simple wall decorations and had about a quarter yard of each of 5 fabrics, all coordinating, and was trying to find something to do with them… I think I just found it! Thanks so much for this!

Hi Christine – the table runner is made in one piece – the fabric itself is printed in different bands of colour – it is not patchwork. I took the dimensions from a runner I already had. I no longer have that runner so am unable to measure it for you. You could easily make one with a few of your favourite fabrics – just varying the size of the pieces.

Hi Audrey – I work full time and my blog is just a hobby where I share some tutorials, as well as some pdf patterns for sale over on Etsy. I need to sell some patterns to cover my costs of running the website, buying materials etc.

Hi Audrey – I have not listed this table runner as a tutorial – I am just sharing a project I made. I am sorry if it was linked to in Pinterest as a tutorial but I don’t have any control how other people save photos to Pinterest.
