Violette Field Threads have recently released their popular Piper sewing pattern sized for women. The Piper Misses can be made as a romantic dress or stylish top and has a number of variations which make for a versatile pattern. The lovely feature of this pattern is the scoop back featuring a sweet bow and ruffles. The front has a boat style neckline with a peter pan collar. Like all of Violette Field Threads patterns, there is an exceptional attention to detail and lots of beautiful photographs to inspire you. With over 40 step by step photos, the pattern will guide you through the construction process. Christine M says
I have in the past although I’m not very good with zips. I’d love to try my hand at dress making again. I love the stripey dress. Thanks for the lovely giveaway.
Susan in OK says
I used to sew for myself and having been looking for fabric and patterns lately to do it again. I do sew for crafts and I want to sew for myself again – mainly because I cannot find a dress that fits and has SHORT sleeves. Even some of the short sleeved dresses have sleeves that are the wrong length and aren’t attractive because of it. That’s easy to handle when you sew for yourself. A great, cute pattern for many, many ages.
