Christmas Favours

November 27, 2010 By A Spoonful of Sugar - 12 Comments

We are starting our Christmas celebrating early here this year as part of our extended family will be overseas for Christmas. I love to add some chocolates to gifts, especially when giving gift cards or money, as it makes it more festive. I seem to be stuck on red and white theme for Christmas again this year:)
I made the Christmas handbag using the Forever Young cartridge on the Cricut, and added some red and white polka dotted paper and some bling. It was the perfect size to hold a cellophane bag of chocolates.

I had some white pillow boxes in my stash that I bought at Spotlight some time ago. I cut out a gingerbread man tag using the Very Merry Tags cartridge and used clear glitter on the background.

It is so much fun to make a start on some Christmas projects.

Cute ways to package chocolate gifts! I love those extra details you added to the purse, and that gingerbread man with the frosty background is adorable. So fun to give these kinds of gifts!

Bonjour Lilou. Sorry – there is no tutorial. We used a cartridge from the Cricut Expression digital cutting machine. http://us.cricut.com/shopping/detail-department-Forever-Young-0-884.aspx
