Make bathtime fun with these easy to construct Bath Mitts using our beginner friendly pdf pattern, Bath Time Buddies.
When I was invited to be part of the Tilda Plum Garden showcase and received the pretty fabric collection, I immediately wanted to create a modern baby project. Sewing for babies and children is always such a joy. The colour palette of pink, lavender, blue, and nutmeg was perfect for Bath Time Buddies. Plum Garden fabric includes pretty florals, paisley, ducks, and more. It coordinates well with another new Tilda range, Tea Towel which I will be showcasing in a couple of weeks time.
Bath Time Buddies are constructed from soft terry towelling in white and pink, the pretty Plum Garden florals are used for the ears, belly, binding, and hanging loop. The small scale florals and prints are perfect for this project. The duck print works so well for the Bath Time Buddies.
Two options for the face are included in the pattern. This is your opportunity to really personalise the project and make it your own by adding quirky expressions.
Bath Time Buddies pdf pattern is available for immediate download in our Etsy store. The pattern is a 12 page ePattern with detailed instructions, step by step photos, and templates to guide you through the construction. These bath mitts are great gifts for baby showers, baby gifts, or to give to the special children in your life. Pretty, and practical, they make bath time fun!
