A Most Exciting Week…..

September 15, 2009 By A Spoonful of Sugar - 40 Comments

We had a very busy and exciting weekend. Sarah’s Tournament of Minds Team competed in the state final on Sunday and won their division, so will now be going to Brisbane to compete at the Australasian Pacific Final in October. You can probably hear us screaming from here:)

To top it all off, I arrived home yesterday to find my sample copy of Lark Books Sweet Nothings, waiting on the doorstep. It is a beautiful book with wonderful styling of each of the projects. It is being released in October 2009.

I designed some sleep shorts with a matching appliqued tank.

There are lots of lovely designs for panties, camisoles, PJ’s and robes. I am glad I have some holidays coming up to try some of the projects. Here are some of my favourite designs:

Sarah and I would like to thank Elizabeth from La Toriana for featuring us on her site.  Her blog is about Babies, Kids and Whole Lot more!

Big cheers for you and for all your successes. The projects look fab, I need that book, but then I would need to resign and find a rich hubby so I could craft all day long, then i might MIGHT get bored and wouldn’t enjoy it anymore. I guess we enjoy it because it’s precious time.

After I read about this book here I told my husband … and he bought it for me as a gift! There are so many wonderful projects in there!
I have yet to make one – I am a bit scared of working with lace and stretchy fabric and such … But will try!
