With only a week to go until Christmas, my thoughts are turning towards finalising the menu and working out my Christmas Table Setting. We will have 12 people to celebrate with this Christmas, representing three generations.
Here is what our table looked like last year with our Red, White, and Polka Dot theme:
I am working this week and time is in short supply, so I am looking for simple but elegant ideas to go with our theme of Red, Aqua, and White. I have put together an inspiration board over at Pinterest for my Christmas Table.
Here are some of my favourite ideas:
Better Homes and Gardens |
Hostess with the Mostess |
Good Housekeeping |
Martha Stewart |
Garn Studio |
Dreamy Whites |
How are you going with your Christmas plans? If you have any Table Setting ideas you would like to share, please leave a link in the comments.

Beautiful table settings! They all look so stylized! I have to admit that I usually let the food decorate our table, especially since there often isn’t room for more things on the table.

Gorgeous, I love the deep red doilies and the chandelier in the last two pics. No decorating tips here – it’s just our immediate family this year so it will be very casual, a red table cloth with a handful of silver start thrown over it I think!

Love all these ideas, Lisa! I’m way behind on sorting the actual table layout – am doing two – one for adults one for kids right beside it. I must admit, I’m having more fun dreaming up the kids’ table!

I have been setting the table slowly, I’m going to post a photo also, my old white table cloth bit the dust, I may just go without it as the red place settings are so lovely, hope your table is filled with beautiful things and your family have a wonderful christmas

I love your setting! Very inviting and fabulous! Though I don’t have any ideas to share but getting this idea I got from this site is really a big help! Your tablescape is tremendously perfect!
