The May issue of Homespun features one of my projects. It is always exciting to get your work published, especially in such a lovely magazine like Homespun. This issue is filled with lots of sweet projects such as quilts, toy, embroidery, pillow and more! I have made a series of four purses that all feature the Jelly Clip purse frames by Lecien. Jelly Clip frames are available in three sizes and a range of lovely bright colours. My projects use the 14 cm (5.5 inch) frames. These purses can be used for a variety of purposes such as make-up/cosmetic purse; mini first aid kit; sewing kit; or regular coin purse.
These purses were so much fun to put together. I have used fabrics from Leciens L Modern and Retro 30’s ranges.I took a few photos before I mailed the purses off to Homespun.
Pick up your copy of Homespun for all the step by step instructions, tips and project details. In Australia, Homespun is available from newsagents, craft stores, Coles, Target and Spotlight stores. Overseas readers, you can pick up a digital issue from Zinio, Apple Newsstand, and Google Play.
You can find Jelly Clip purse frames at: Red Brolly(three sizes available); and Ministry of Fabric (small size only).

I so want to make some of these, now to track down if we can get them England.

Good luck in tracking them down! You could ask you local quilt shop if they could order them in. They make great gifts.
