Top Homeware Trends{sponsored by Target}

Over the past month, the man of the house has been busy repainting our home. We have been living here for 12 years and it is well and truly time to give everything a refresh and de-clutter. I have been looking around at homewares to get an idea of current styles and trends. I love the look of modern homewares – there are so many fun products to add some colour and style to your home. Here is a round-up of what is in vogue for 2015 – our top 10 homeware trends.

1. Word Art

Whether it is decorating a wall, a cushion, or a coffee mug – typography continues to be on right on trend. Loving my new Hello wall art which features wooden cursive lettering with yellow dipped paintwork. Colourful and fun!

Top Homeware Trends 2. Geometric

Geometric prints, especially triangles, are a current design trend. Inject some geometric love into your home with cushions, plant pots, linen, throws, and home décor items. The Lisa T Modern House adds some flair and modern style to your home décor. Top Homeware Trends 3. Black and White

Black and White is always a classic colour palette and it gives your home a modern edge. It can be introduced in cushions, linens, artwork, photo frames, and more. Scrapbook paper was added to this Aloha Frame to give it some black and white flair.

Top Homeware Trends 4. Quirky

Quirky accents can add some fun to a room, Who can resist the Catty Cushion for an original look.

Cacti and succulents make ideal pot plants for a sunny windowsill. Succulents are easy to grow and need very little attention. They are very popular at the moment and a great way to incorporate some plants into your décor.

Candles are popular and are a great way to add warmth and freshness to your living spaces. There are so many lovely scents available – we love the Black Fig and Apricot which makes your home so inviting.
