Gifted with Love Pouch

January 11, 2020 By A Spoonful of Sugar - 3 Comments

Gifts are extra special when they are gifted in a beautiful pouch. My latest design – Gifted with Love Pouch – is perfectly sized to hold a gift card, jewellery, or small gift. In this version, I have combined red and pink in the foundation paper pieced heart that is the feature of the pouch. The light grey background fabric makes the heart pop.

The pouch is fully lined and has boxed corners on the base. I have used Chinese knot cord for the drawstring which is available in lots of pretty colours. The heart is perfect for those new to foundation paper piecing. The pouch can be easily made in around an hour.

The Gifted with Love Pouch pdf sewing pattern is available for immediate download in my Etsy store. It includes a 15 page ePattern with loads of photographs, helpful tips, and full sized template for the heart.

It is so much fun to combine your favourite fabrics to make a pouch suitable for any gift giving occasion. These would be perfect for Valentines Day, engagement, wedding, birthday, Mother’s Day, or anytime a special gift is needed.

Head to our Etsy store to check out the pattern. For more Valentines Day sewing ideas check out these posts.
