In Australia, Christmas in July celebrations are relatively common. There is something lovely about enjoying a traditional Christmas menu in front on an open fire on a cold night. It is a novelty for us as our Christmas’ are usually very hot.
If you are planning a Christmas in July celebration or merely want to get a head start on your Christmas projects, you will love our Santa Boxes. These mini red boxes, dressed up with some white velvet double frill elastic trim, black satin ribbon and a rhinestone buckle would make perfect little gift boxes or favour boxes for a Christmas celebration. Santa Boxes are very quick to make and look classy. Simply wrap a length of double frill velvet elastic around the box. Slide the buckle onto some black satin ribbon, and attach to the box to form Santa’s belt buckle.
Santa Boxes are perfectly sized to hold a few little chocolates, a gift card, or a money gift.
We would like to thank one of our newest sponsors, Think Bowtique for supplying the double frill velvet elastic, satin ribbon, and rhinestone ribbon buckle slider for this project. The red box was purchased at a craft store.
Think Bowtique is an Australian online store that sells a great range of hair bow, head band making, and craft supplies.
These are super cute! I keep trying to convince my partner into doing Xmas in July!!!
I might have to bookmark this one for a December Chrissie project
