Scrap Buster Projects

If you are like us, you probably have loads of fabric offcuts and “scraps” left over from quilts and larger projects.We pretty much keep all of our little fabric pieces and it is fun to incorporate them into projects. If your scraps are getting out of control, here is a roundup of 15 popular Scrap Buster Projects to help put those scraps to good use!

Yo-yo Rosette
Transform a paper bag into a lovely gift package by adding a yo-yo rosette and a gathered frill.

Breakfast Mat
Add a strip of patchwork to a plain placemat to create a cheerful breakfast mat. 
Fabric Covered Box
Cover a small gift box with a padded fabric lid – perfect for gift giving.

Tissue Cover
Tissue covers are a great project to make for fêtes and gifts. Check out our easy tutorial.

Fabric Flower
Fabric Flowers can be quickly made from small pieces of fabric and look great decorating a gift box.
