My teens have been to a lot of birthday parties lately. A popular gift choice for teens are gift cards or cash. I find these gift ides to be a bit impersonal but I do like to give a practical, useful gift.
Gift cards don’t need to be boring though……
With a pretty bag, ribbon, a monogram, and a peg/clothespin decorated with washi tape, it looks much more exciting! The ribbon and paper bag are from Ribbons Galore. I cut the flourish tags with a McGill Fancy Square Punch (which I have in two sizes).
I think I will decorate a few more bitty bags to have on hand for the next party.

I love the gift card wrapping, looks fabulous and so much nicer than the cards they come attached to.
Darling gift card holder!
Love the idea, and the way you spiced up giving a gift card. So much better than just putting it in the plain envelope that comes with it. This way, the recipient feels like they are receiving a gift to open.
very pretty
I thought I had subscribed but haven’t received anything so filled in the subscriby thing now -Will i get your current newsletter?
So cute! Thanks for the idea, we send gift cards to all of the nieces and they do seem a bit boring. Don’t mind me, I’m off to pin this! 🙂
I got my newsletter, thanks. The bags look so cute, wrapped perfectly.
