    My project right now is a Fourth of July wallhanging. Started it in spring 2012 and abandoned it when I realized I wouldn’t finish before last July 4. I am so determined to get it done in 2013!!!! Love that French General fabrics by the way!

    The project that I am working on now are some basic baby quilt tops for our quilt group at church. After that I think I’ll make some 3 D bowtie blocks.

    I have two projects in line, one a bag so I can carry my crochet around with me during the winter and the other is a baby quilt for a boy. I have the material for the quilt but need to decide on the pattern.

    I am currently finishing a lap quilt which is backed with fleece, and I am planning on builting in a place to put your feet to keep them toasty warm on the couch. I also plan on making some hand-warmers for my friends as the weather is getting colder (in NZ)!!

    My next quilting project really should be my son’s wedding quilt (they’ve been married for four months). But, it will probably actually be a picnic quilt for a wedding shower my daughter is giving (’cause that has an actual deadline).

    i am new at sewing (well, since junior high home ec which was a long time ago) so i have only done two simple little projects so far. i bought a lot of fabric last week so i plan on doing several little projects this weekend: small purse, fabric baskets and felt baskets. i really want to leave to quilt so i have plenty of jelly rolls and charm packs but have been a little intimidated to start.

    My daughters wedding was last week. My wife and I are following the San Diego and Los Angeles shop hop trail a month early to get inspired and buy fabrics we don’t see much back east. {lus 2 quilt shows this weekend. We identified our limit yesterday. 5 stores in one day. Off to a thrift store today for a suitcase to take it all home. Thank you Southwest Airlines for 2 free bags each.

    A quilt is ready to be finished – quilting/binding – and then I have to look over my projects list and see what I want to take on next. I have a couple kits [Tula Pink/Beanstalks and I think the Bliss Quilt by Amy Butler?] and tons of patterns ready to go as soon as I make up my mind. Plus, I have the matching quilt to the first one, that only needs an outer border fabric and then the backing fabric… I may take that on first while I’m in that mode, but Spring is here so … picnic blankets and baby quilts.

    Mine is not exactly a new project. I made a quilt top before I moved from Alaska and my next project is to do the hand quilting on it. I haven’t quite decided how I want to quilt it though. I’m thinking of doing vines in the open areas. Thanks for the giveaway.
