To celebrate my birthday last weekend, Sarah made up a batch of delicious Vanilla Cupcakes with a Buttercream Frosting. She used the Wilton 2D Decorating Tip to make the lovely swirls.
- 1 1/8 cups self-raising flour
- 1 cup plain (all-purpose) flour
- 3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 3 large eggs, at room temperature
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste (or vanilla extract)
