I have found lately that I have been kept busy with designing projects for magazines and have not had much time to sew just for fun! Yesterday I was between projects and decided to put my time to good use.
First up I made a table runner for our meals table. I couldn’t decide which fabric to use so made it double sided –
One side with some lovely Park Slope fabric that I have been saving for a special project
and on the other some Hot Blossom, Robert Kaufman. I like my home wares to be fairly plain so just teamed the fabrics with some natural linen.
I also made up a Lavender Trivet based on the one designed by Rashida from I Heart Linen in the latest Stitch magazine. I used some Modern Meadow teamed with linen. I think I will take this to work to cheer up my work station – the Lavender smells divine!
